We are looking for a PHP developer to join an existing team of developers working on the development and maintenance of a web-based order processing application.
Although your main focus will be on the development of back-end PHP modules and the definition and maintenance of our data stores, a good understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
You will need to have had at least one years' experience using PHP and MySQL (in a commercial environment or otherwise).
We will consider applicants on all levels, salary will be between £25K and £35K based on your individual skills and experience.
Building new features - efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules within our existing application for use by a range of different users.
Improve and enhance existing features - including performance and usability improvements.
Skills and experience
High proficiency with PHP especially object-oriented PHP programming.
Proven experience and solid familiarity with MySQL, the SQL language and relational database design.
The position is 40 hours per week.
